The question was asked by reporters when Jokowi gave a press statement after attending the inauguration of the Indonesia Digital Testing House (IDTH) at the Balai Besar Pengujian Perangkat Telekomunikasi (BBPPT) Tapos, Depok, West Java, Tuesday.
The President smiled broadly and nodded his head when he heard the question.
The President then left the question and answer session without answering the question.
Previously, Secretary General of Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani revealed that Indonesian President Joko Widodo encouraged a meeting between Megawati Soekarnoputri and President-elect Prabowo Subianto.
This was conveyed by Muzani to dismiss the issue of President Jokowi being an obstacle to the Megawati-Prabowo meeting.
“No, Mr. Jokowi was the one who encouraged and reminded us,” said Muzani in the Jakarta, Saturday (4/5).
Muzani thinks Megawati and Prabowo have their own way of communicating with each other, because the two figures are old friends.
He said Megawati and Prabowo had no problems with each other. Meanwhile, he said the discourse on Megawati and Prabowo’s meeting was proceeding with a fairly good development.
